22 days to go!!! Stocking monsters

Hey,

I absolutely LOVE knitted monsters so I attempted to make up a super easy pattern for one that will fit in ANY stocking and is to cute not to love!!!

BLOOP THE GLOOPY MONSTER

 

Bloop is a cute companion that is quiet,

clean, and fits in all knitting bags!

Just make sure he has a couple joob joobs

every so often and he’ll love you forever!!!

 

GAUGE

The great thing about knitted toys is that

gauge doesn’t matter!!!! If you want to

make bloop bigger just increase your

needle and wool size!

 

MATERIALS

1 set dpns (about 2 sizes smaller than size reccomended on ball of wool)

1 ball chunky wool

 

BODY

Rnd1-13: knit all

Rnd14: (k2tog knit 4) four times

Rnd15: knit all

Rnd16: (k2tog knit 3) four times

Rnd17: BO

 

EYES

R1-5: knit all

thread wool through all stitches and pull

tight. sew up the back of the eye and

embroider a black dot in the middle.

 

MAKE TWO

 

Finger knit a cord to attach eyes

 

FINNISHING OFF

Sew the body together and lightly stuff. Sew all pieces to the body and embroider a

mouth!

 

 

 

I really hope you guys make some bloopy gloopy stocking monsters!!!
